Bilateral Relations: Cuba and Iran sign WMD agreements

Local media reports that Cuba and Iran have signed agreements calling for the destruction of all weapons of mass destruction and an end to the U.S blockade against Cuba.

The agreements were signed during a visit by Iran's Majlis (parliament) Speaker, Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel. Haddad-Adel, said that Iran and Cuba were together in their struggle against "imperialism and aggression".

Haddad-Adel and his delegation arrived in Cuba last Wednesday from Venezuela and will now move on to Uruguay.
