Bilateral Relations: Trinidad and Tobago unswervingly adhere to one-China policy

The Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Patrick Manning, said yesterday that his country will continue to "unswervingly" adhere to the one-China policy, adding that he looked forward to closer relations between his country and China.

China View, reports that Manning, leader of the ruling People's National Movement (PNM), also said his government is willing to deepen cooperation with China in fields such as economics and trade and that Chinese companies are welcome to invest in the country.
