Construction: Further discussions on bridge linking Singapore and Malaysia

Malaysia and Singapore are to continue discussions regarding building a full bridge to replace the Causeway. It is understood that a meeting will be held in Singapore, either at the end of this month or early next month.

Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, said Wisma Putra, (foreign affairs) would discuss the concessions sought by Singapore, including permission to use Johor's airspace for its defence forces' training, and the sale of sand from Malaysia.

It is understood that a meeting will be held in Singapore, either at the end of this month or early next month.
