Defense: Brazil to build air-to-air missile with South Africa
Military sources report that Brazil is to build an air-to-air missile with South Africa and buy nine used F-5 jet fighters from Saudi Arabia. The missile project is part of Brazil's fight against drug traffickers. In 2004, a law was passed that authorizes the air force to shoot down aircraft used by drug traffickers.
