Entrepreneurship: Study shows nearly half Chinese businesses start with less than $12,500

The Xinhua news agency, reports that a new survey of businesses in China reveals that 48 percent of owners started up with less than $12,500 in seed money.

The study, organized by the CCTV, China's Development and Reform Commission, Qinghua University and the China Agricultural University, also found another 19 percent started their businesses with less than $38,000.

When I started in 1997, I had $3.80 in my bank account - but thankfully a lot of practical help that turned out to be far more useful.
