The Philippines, is to buy 50,000 tons of rice from Pakistan. It will be the first time that the Philippines has bought rice from Pakistan.According to Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan's chairman, Abdul Majeed, Iran has also agreed to buy 40,000 tons of rice. Shipments starting from next month would mark Pakistan's export of rice to Iran after twenty years. In addition, Iran has also floated a tender for buying 30,000 tons of Basmati rice.
