Human Resources: Skills shortage prompt Australian meat work to recruit workers from Vietnam

Western Exporters, Australia's largest goat abattoir in south-west Queensland, has recruited 20 workers from Vietnam under a four-year arrangement. The company recruited the workers because of a chronic skills shortage.

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation, reports that managing director Neil Duncan, said the workers had been well accepted and the Vietnamese are working side by side with the workers we already there.
