Immigration: Activists claim 300,000 Chinese denied access to Indonesian citizenship

The Chinese-language Sing Tao Daily, reports that human rights organizations claim that around 300,000 Chinese in Indonesia are being denied access to citizenship applications.

According to activists, many Chinese have been living in poverty in Indonesia for decades but can not obtain birth certificates or identification to enable them to apply for Indonesian citizenship.
