International Development: Pakistan spends $3.4 million on Afghan refugees

A press release issued by the Pakistan High Commission, states that Pakistan is spending $3.4 million on 2.6 million Afghan refugees living in Pakistan. The figures were given by Additional Secretary UN and Economic Coordination in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tariq Osman Hyder, during the second day of the international conference on Afghanistan.

Pakistan has now pledged a total of $250 million, of which $50 million were pledged during this conference.
