Radio Nepal, has reported that Nepal and Philippine research institutes have agreed to renew the past agreement of carrying out effective research works in Nepal.The report stated that "An agreement signed by the Nepal Agriculture Research Council (NARC) and the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) of the Philippines in the past with the objective of carrying out effective research works had been renewed," adding that the NARC and the IRRI also signed a three-year Work Plan for enhancing mutual collaboration in the production of rice in Nepal.
