Defense: Iranian navy cadets in India to train with Indian Navy

The world of international relations is a funny old place.

As relations between India and Iran cool, and US and India become all chummy, Iranian Navy cadets and trainees have completed a five-day training program with the Indian Navy.

IRIS Bandar Abbas (a fleet supply-turned training ship) and IRIS Lavan (an amphibious ship) arrived on Friday. High ranking Indian Navy officials at the Southern Naval Command were present to see off the Iranian ships.

NetIndia123, reports that during their stay, the Indians and the Iranians played friendly football and volleyball matches.
