The distance between myself and my fiancee in the U.S. seems great at the best of times, but eve more so when the Australian media brings you reports and television coverage of tornados in her area.
The fact that I have been unable to contact her makes that distance between us as tyrannical as Saddam Hussein on a bad hair day.
