A press release issued by the Japanese embassy in Tashkent, announced that Japan has allocated grant for $8.87 million to the government of Uzbekistan.The grant was issued within project "Supply of Road Construction Equipment (Phase II)" and aimed to support economic stability and efforts directed to development of Uzbekistan.
