International Development: Oman gets $202.5 million in loans from AFESD

The Omani National Economy Ministry has signed two loan agreements with the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) for a total of $202.5 million.

The ministry said that the first loan was for $135 million would partly finance roadworks in Muscat. The second loan for $67.5 million will be used for the construction of a highway linking Amarat and Quraiyat.
