International Development: Yemen receives $26 million in food aid from the U.S.

The US and Yemen, have signed an agreement for America to provide $26 million of food aid. The deal is part of the US Food Support Program.

The Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi, said the aid would support development projects in different governorates, helping with rural development, agriculture, livestock and small loans. In addition, the US government had also agreed to contribute $2.4 million for the Baihan Hospital project.
