Management: Two thirds of British management lack financial planning skills

A survey by research agency YouGov, reveals that two thirds of British business managers have received no formal financial training, despite the fact that they are often in control of budgets and cashflow. The survey also found 50 per cent of managers lack confidence when making financial decisions.

Commenting on the lack of training among managers, the Learning and Skills Council's director of skills for employers, David Greer, said: "It's very worrying that so few managers have financial training."
