Venezuelan officials and Salvadorian mayors from left-winged Frente Farabundo Martí para la Liberacion Nacional (FMLN) have announced the establishment of a San Salvador-based oil venture. The deal between Venezuelan oil company PetroCaribe and Asociacion de Energía para El Salvador (Enepasa,) will be signed on March 20.National Assembly (AN) president Nicolas Maduro, said "This project, which is part of a new integration alternative of the Latin American peoples, will have the advantage that it will eliminate intermediaries and speculators in the fuel business and will stabilize supply and prices."
