Construction: 320 kilometre highway project in Morocco

The Director General of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD), Abdulatif Al-Hamad, has announced a project to build a highway linking the Moroccan cities of Fez and Oujda.

He told a press conference that it would cost about six billion Moroccan Dirhams (One US Dollar equals eight Dirhams) to build the 320 kilometre highway.

The highway is part of larger project to link Mauritania and Libya to North African states.
