Copyright: Korean Air sued over use of music

A Korean music industry group said yesterday it filed a criminal lawsuit against Korean Air, for offering songs to its customers in an unauthorized manner.

The Korean Association of Phonogram Producers, have asked prosecutors in Seoul to punish Korean Air for allegedly using the unauthorized MP3 music files illegally in its passenger planes and airport lounges.

Korean Air was also accused of having ignored the industry group's requests since 2004 to stop providing the music files.
