Singapore's government has announced that the country's manufacturing output in March rose 25.2 percent from a year earlier, supported by robust activity in the biomedical and transport engineering sectors.
The Economic Development Board (EDB) said that last month's double-digit jump was ahead of analyst forecasts for 12.8-23.0 percent and meant overall production in the key sector rose 20 percent annually in the first quarter to March.
