Youth Issues: Vietnam launches project to take IT to teenagers

Thanhniennews, reports that the Vietnam Youth Union has launched a project to provide 27,000 teenagers with a basic knowledge of computing and train 810 young people in rural communes who will help train more people all over the country.

It has enlisted 2,700 voluntary university students and officials from the nine cities and provinces who are competent at IT.

A trial project that will be implemented in three cities, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang, and six provinces, Can Tho, Nam Dinh, Nghe An, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak and Dong Nai.
