Aquaculture: Vietnam raising seahorses to improve farmer-livelihoods

Tanhniennews.com reports that raising seahorses is gaining popularity in Vietnam as the latest form of aquaculture, developed to improve farmer-livelihoods in the country.

It is believed the seahorses can be marketed for high profit by raisers without a lot of risk. Export markets are in Singapore, the US and the EU as ornamental "fish" and in China and Hong Kong as tonic medicines.
