Bilateral Cooperation: Jordan and Saudi Arabi discuss closer ties

Jordanian and Saudi economic activists have met to discuss means of further enhancing trade and economic ties between the two countries. The talks coincide with the joint Jordanian-Saudi ministerial committee meeting co-chaired by industry and trade ministers in the two countries.

A larger meeting will be held next Wednesday to discuss among other topics, the role of the private sector in developing bilateral cooperation, ways to enhance business partnerships and the possibility of increasing Jordanian exports to Saudi Arabia, which has become Jordan's biggest trade partner as Jordan now counts on Saudi Arabia to secure its oil supplies.
