The Russian air force is to send additional personnel to its Kant base inside Kyrgyzstan once construction is completed on 160 housing units and a new school.Vladimir Mikhailov, commander of the Russian air force, said the base, can still fulfil its security obligations to the Collective Security Treaty Organization
The base is located 20 miles west of the Kyrgyz capital.
