Officials from Norway have met with the President of Azerbaijan, to discuss Statoil involvement in energy projects.According to UPI, President Ilham Aliyev met with State Secretary of the Norwegian Foreign Ministry Kjetil Skogrand. Turan news agency reported Aliyev described relations as "developing successfully".
Last week, Statoil's head met with Azerbaijani officials for two-day talks in Baku hoping to advance strategic energy projects.
