Human Resources: British employers shun CVs

Figures published by the Employment Law Advisory Services, reveal that British employers, particularly small businesses, don't bother reading CVS. Instead, they rely on gut instinct or word of mouth.

That explains a lot about British management but I will continue.

A survey found that 42% admitted they had recruited at least one person without seeing their CV or do not insist on sighting a CV.

Of course, they fail to realise the potential risks they face in sticking to methods that went out the window years ago.
