Insurance: Vietnam to raise health insurance premiums by 30%

Tanhniennews, reports the Vietnam Social Insurance (VSI) plans to gradually increase optional health insurance premiums by 30%, starting this year, to reduce the deficit in the health insurance fund.

Nguyen Minh Thao, head of the VSI's Social Insurance Assessment Board, said raising health insurance charges would help the agency cope with the increase in tariffs for more than 1,000 medical services.
