International Cooperation: Cuba to send 160 doctors to Botswana

Cuba is to send 160 medical specialists to Botswana and will also help in establishing a school of medicine.

The agreement was announced during a visit to Cuba by Botswana's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mompati Merafhe.

Mmegi Online reports that Cuba and Botswana established collaboration agreements in 1989 when the first Cuban medical brigade of 11 doctors went to Botswana.
