International Relations: Japan to host meeting of Central Asian countries

The Japanese government is to host a meeting of the foreign ministers of Japan and six Central Asian countries including Afghanistan in early June.

Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, asked Afghan Foreign Minister Rangin Dadfar Spanta to join the meeting to cooperate in countering terrorism, drugs and other issues, according to government sources.
