International Relations:Yemeni parliament denounces "oppressive Zionist-American" siege

The Yemeni parliament has issued a statement denouncing what it terms the "oppressive Zionist-American" siege laid to the Palestinian people as a punishment for exercising their democratic right to choose their own representatives.

The statement, issued under chairmanship of speaker Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hussein Al-Ahmar, also condemned the international silence towards such a siege and the Israeli occupation's atrocities against that people. The statement also asked the Arabs and Muslim peoples and governments to back the "heroic" Palestinian people regardless of pressures.

Don't people realise, you can only have a democratically elected government if the global school-yard bully approves.
