Globemedia, reports that Russia has hired Ketchum, a major U.S. public-relations firm, to salvage its image as it prepares to welcome world leaders as president of the Group of Eight leading countries.Ketchum, will lead the communications team for the summit three months from now in St. Petersburg.
A spokesman for President Vladimir Putin said, "Ideally, we hope to achieve a situation, an atmosphere where we're not treated as a source of problems for the European continent..Where we're not treated as a country that is opposing everything that can be opposed in this world, because this is not the reality".
