Scientists have come up with a method to enable women to judge whether a man will be a suitable mate.
Channelnewsasia reports that in a study published on Wednesday in Proceedings of the Royal Society B, a journal of Britain's Royal Society, US psychologists test a key hypothesis about male attractiveness.
Basically, the scientists claim that the best thing to do is to look at him in the face and trust your instincts.
Other findings are -
* Women may fancy men who are macho but they also like the kind, caring types too.
* Studies into female hormones and sex drive say a woman will find a "masculine" face more attractive when she ovulates but switch to a more "feminine" preference during the other phases of her menstrual cycle.
The study didn't say what a woman's preference would be after six after Bacardi and Cokes and a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon. No - I haven't conducted trials - honest!
