Youth Issues: Teenage girl dies after her "mates" drag her into hospital by her heels

An Australian teenager has died in Perth, after she was dragged unconscious by the heels into a hospital and abandoned by friends following a night of alleged drinking and drug-taking.

The girl was found in a comatose state in a car outside the party about 11.30pm and was initially ignored by her friends. Later they took her inside and put her under a shower.

When that didn't work, they moved her to the front garden where people tried to give her water and attempted to perform CPR.

According to police, "She was then picked up and taken to Armadale hospital where we believe a passenger from the car dragged her by the heels into the triage area and shot through."

Sgt Clifford made a statement that was true in my day, and still is.

"We tell people if you are going to go to a party make sure you look after each other, if anyone looks like they are getting out of hand, help them."

You don't drag them by their bloody heels into a hospital and shoot through like a Bondi tram.
