An Argentinean government minister has demanded free world trade for agriculture.
Miguel Campos, Argentine minister for Agriculture and Cattle Raising said, "We are in a global market, characterized by protection, and in this context we consider access to markets central, because we have competitive advantages."
He told the annual International Association for Agriculture and Food Businesses forum, meeting in Buenos Aires, "If we mainly export raw materials, it is because they do not let us sell our crafted products."
