Arms Trade: Russia shrugs off U.S. concerns on arms sales to Venezuela

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, has basically said, "Stuff you" to the United States. He told reporters that Russia will sell arms to Venezuela, despite a U.S. arms embargo against Venezuela.

Speaking in an interview reported by the Rossiya state television, Lavrov said that Moscow is acting on international law that doesn't restrict arms shipments to Venezuela.

"Venezuela is not the target of any sanctions, and we already have developed bilateral military-technical cooperation. I think we will continue to expand such cooperation in forms that are not subject to any restrictions," he said.
Lavrov shrugged off U.S. concerns as "some abstract notion" "We are governed by international law," he said.

Exactly.
