Bilateral Relations: South Africa heaps praise on China-Africa relationship

During his visit to China, South Africa's deputy foreign minister Aziz Pahad, said the China-Africa summit to be held in China in November will strengthen the growing China-Africa relationship. He added the relationship would cover political, economic, cultural and people-to-people contacts.

Xinhua News Agency reports that he also said China's new Africa policy, the visit by Chinese President Hu Jintao to Africa in April and the coming visit by Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao to Africa, had brought a dynamism to relations.

"China has made a major offer to help us train people in South Africa," he told local media.

Wouldn't it be easier just to tow Africa over to China and save all the Chinese delegations travelling to the continent?
