UPI reports that Turkmen President Saparmiyrat Niyazov met with chairman of Russian Gazprom to discuss further development of Turkmen-Russia energy cooperation.The two sides reached an agreement on Gazprom's participation in projects on developing oil and gas resources of the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, Turkmen State News Service reports.
