Fuel: Zimbabwean company launches fuel saving engine conditioner

A Zimbabwean company, Oil World, has launched a new product called MPG CAP, which can save up to 10 percent of the fuel imported into the country.

The Herald reports that MPG CAP is a 100 percent organic engine conditioner which when added to a tank of fuel, simultaneously improves fuel economy and vehicle power by creating a micro-thin coating in the engine combustion chamber. This allows fuel to burn efficiently thus lowering exhaust emissions. Zimbabwe currently spends up to US$50 million on fuel imports a month.

The company plans to distribute the MPG CAP to Sadc countries such as Malawi, Mozambique, Botswana and South Africa.
