Goodnight from Sydney

Tonight's photo: Not sure why I like this pic, but for some reason all the different elements appeal to me.

As you can see, Lame Cove council likes to grow our trees short.

The Council decided to embark upon this program after Councillor Ms. Liu Ni Tic, informed the mayor that the council was discriminating against tree loppers who were scared of heights.

They also decided to grow the trees without any branches so as to avoid any litigation resulting from their falling and hitting somebody on the head.

Before implementation, a 10 member team and their spouses, partners and a bloke the Gender Equality Director picked up in a bar, embarked on a six week feasibility study to Las Vegas, Bermuda, Paris, Thailand and Tahiti, to see how councils in other countries grew trees.

Wherever you may be - be safe!
