The World Bank has approved the Fifth Poverty Reduction Support Credit (PRSC V) for Vietnam, a US$100 million project to support poverty reduction in the country.The credit will go towards the implementation of Vietnam's reform agenda embodied in the Comprehensive Poverty Reduction and Growth Strategy.
This incudes the transition to a market economy; socially inclusive and environmentally sustainable development; and building modern governance systems.
