International Relations: Russia seeks greater cooperation with India and China

Russian President Vladimir Putin today called for increased cooperation with India and China.

Speaking at the conference of Russian ambassadors at the Foreign Ministry, Putin said Russia's cooperation with India should "'increase significantly in many spheres, including nuclear energy".

''It is fundamentally important that our bilateral partnership takes into account the dynamic development of both Russia and China, and accordingly changes for our countries both in terms of the region and the world in general,'' he added.
