Narcotics: China gives anti-drug training to Burma

Xinhua reports that with the latest training course, China has now trained 160 Burmese officials in how to crack down on drug trafficking.

Since 2002, the Yunnan Police College, authorized by the National Narcotics Control Commission and Ministry of Public Securities, started to train the Burmese officials.

The officials will discuss the global anti-drug situation during the one-month course and some methods of drug testing and narcotics control will also be shown in the class, said Yu Yanjing, president of the college.

The Burmese officials will also learn mandarin and Kung Fu.
