Russia's oil production, including gas condensate, rose by 2.5 percent to 196m tonnes in January-May 2006 compared to the same period of 2005, Russia's Federal Statistics Service (Rosstat) reports. Oil production in May grew by 3.6 percent compared to May 2005. May output figures were not posted.In Q1 2006 oil output, including gas condensate, amounted to 116m tonnes, up by 1.8 percent from January-March 2005. In 2005 oil production, including gas condensate, increased by 2.29 percent to 470m tonnes compared to 2004.
