Singapore's Minister for Trade and Industry Lim Hng Kiang will lead a delegation to Jakarta on 15 July 2006 to attend the Inaugural Singapore–Indonesia Joint Steering Committee (JSC) Meeting on Economic Cooperation in Batam, Bintan and Karimun. The JSC Meeting will be co-chaired by Minister Lim and Indonesia’s Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Dr Boediono.Minister Lim will be accompanied by Minister for Education and 2nd Minister for Finance, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Senior Minister of State for Home Affairs, Ho Peng Kee, and officials from the Ministries of Trade and Industry, Manpower, and Education, as well as the Economic Development Board, Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore, JTC Corporation, and Singapore Customs.
