Goodnight from Sydney

Tonight's photo: I call this one, "That's not quite how I saw it - must be the bloody camera's fault"

The other day I mentioned that I had come up with the idea of including snippets of song lyrics in this final post. Some will have significance, some just take my fancy. Tonight's snippet is again from Phil Ochs, and I believe was written in 1965. Forty one years ago.

And the evil is done in hopes that evil surrenders
but the deeds of the devil are burned too deep in the embers
and a world of hunger in vengeance will always remember
So please be reassured,
we seek no wider war, we seek no wider war.

Wherever you may be - be safe
