International Development: Ghana's future is bright - World Bank

Paul Wolfowitz, President of the World Bank (WB), has said that Ghana has the potential to become the leading economic giant in Africa if the present pace of development is maintained.

Mr Gobian Nankanin, WB Vice President in Charge of Africa Region, also praised Ghana's performance saying that if Ghana's present eight per cent growth rate was maintained the country could reach Middle Income status by 2015 with a little hard work.
