Middle East Crisis: Pakistan to send medicines and food to Lebanon

Pakistan has said it would send relief supplies of medicines and food to Lebanon in response to an appeal for humanitarian assistance by the Lebanese prime minister.

Pakistani foreign ministry spokeswoman Tasneem Aslam said in a statement, "The government will send the relief supplies to Beirut the moment it becomes physically possible to do so."

Spokeswoman Aslam said the decision to send humanitarian assistance to Beirut also reflected Pakistan's expression of solidarity with the people of Lebanon.

Seems like only a short while ago that Pakistan was appealing for food and medical aid following the earthquake.
