UPI reports that Syria, is waiving visa requirements for U.S. citizens wishing fleeing the violence in Lebanon. Syria has also said it has opened its borders to citizens of all nationalities.The Syrian embassy in Washington has said the Syrian government has directed its border authorities to offer humane assistance and medical attention to those fleeing the fighting in Lebanon.
