Middle East Special: Reports Iran wants end to Hezbollah rocket attacks

A UPI report has quoted Ynetnews.com, as saying Iran has sent its foreign minister to Syria to urge Hezbollah to restrain its rocket attacks on Israel. Ynetnews.com was quoting al-Sharq al-Awsat.

According to the report, the Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki's visit comes after Iran was warned by a European country that Israel is ready for a confrontation with Syria, which recently signed a defense alliance with Iran, to liquidate the Hezbollah.
