Middle East Special: Vietnam plans evacuation

The Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has said that relevant Vietnamese agencies have been discussing measures to evacuate 300 expatriates to safety in Lebanon.

The ministry has asked the Embassy in Cairo, Egypt, to provide information on the latest developments in Lebanon and to keep close contact to Vietnamese people there.

It has been working with the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social and other relevant agencies to contact with Vietnamese laborers working in Lebanon and help them away from the battle area.
